Primary Workshops for Schools

Pick n Mix Dance Workshop

Our Pick ‘n’ Mix Dance Workshop offers a unique and engaging way to explore a wide variety of dance styles, historical periods, and cultural traditions. Designed to be flexible and multifaceted, this workshop allows you to tailor the experience to match your specific topic or celebration.

Transport your students through time with our Turn Back Time dances, from the Tango and Foxtrot of the 1910s to the Disco and Hip Hop of the 1970s and 1980s, and even the Street Dance of today. Alternatively, explore global cultures through our International Dances, featuring styles like Irish, Brazilian, Chinese, African, and many more.

For a literary twist, immerse your students in the magical worlds of beloved Books and Musicals such as Matilda, Harry Potter, The Lion King, Encanto, and The Wizard of Oz. Each session is crafted not only to teach the dances but also to bring these stories and cultures to life, making learning both fun and memorable.

Whether you’re enhancing Cultural Week, Historical Events or Arts Week, our Pick ‘n’ Mix Dance Workshop is the perfect fit. We cater to single or multiple classes, offering up to 8 sessions for 30 children each, and customizing each session to suit your needs.

For more information on our Pick n Mix Dance Workshop, give us a call on 01536 265432 or email us on info@primaryworkshopsforschools.com.

Workshop Performance

Workshop & Performance

Workshop Sessions:

Up to 8 sessions

During a typical day-long workshop, Primary Workshops for Schools can work with up to 30 children in a session and deliver 6 sessions, stretching to 8 if required. The workshop can then end with a performance from the children during which they can showcase the moves they’ve learnt throughout the day and develop in confidence.
